Description
My (probably) last fanart of this game, SD3. I finished the game and quite frankly, I've had enough of it for now.
Time for something new.
Kevin, mourning for his dead wolf.
I tried something else for a change, have major contrast in style in FG/BG.
I think the result is a bit weird but it was fun to do.

Kevin with Wisp? I would have pictured him with Luna, as he's a half-beastman whose transformation is governed by the moon.
The characters in the foreground are amazingly detailed. I love the details - the muscles, the shine on the stripes on his pants, Wisp's wispyness (looks like he popped right out of the instruction booklet!).
To critique: the background looks like it came out of a flash animation - it works for a cartoony contrasting effect, but doesn't blend well overall in terms of style. I would have loved to see wispy clouds and moonlight on the pine needles.
From the lighting, it looks like maybe the knuckle of the forefinger, on the hand to the right, may be highlighted. Also, the foot on the left seems a bit skinny, but I would need to see a model to confirm.
I realize you did these a long time ago and are probably loads better by now and have absolutely no desire to go back and fix... but maybe you can use the info on an upcoming drawing.
